  • Bedding included
  • Please bring your own towels/tea towels
  • Pets welcome, but not in the bedrooms or on the furniture (please clean up after your dog in the garden).  £20 per pet.
  • Supply of logs included
  • Gas fired central heating·
  • The cottage is spotless, but because we like our guests to relax and feel at home, it has a ‘lived in’ feel. When you’re on holiday, the last thing we want is for you to be on edge in case a child spills a drink or your dog rushes through the house with wet feet!

N.B.  THIS COTTAGE CAN BE RENTED WITH THE NEIGHBOURING COTTAGE (NO. 4) AND TOGETHER, THEY CAN CATER FOR GROUPS OF 10.

Outside the Holiday Cottage

Private sunny garden fully fenced so safe for dogs and children. Designated parking is outside the front of the cottage.
The gardens back onto paddocks where our resident miniature Shetland ponies live. They love to meet our younger guests who are welcome to help with grooming (and cuddles!). We also have a couple of sheep and chickens. All of these animals are rescue cases, now living at their forever home!

In the Area

For those who want to explore, the New Forest and the Jurrasic coastline are within easy reach, as are the sandy beaches at Bournemouth or Weymouth which also offer many attractions for our younger visitors.

There are many places of interest around the local area, some of the most popular being Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge, Hilliers Gardens & Arboretum, Paultons Theme Park and Longleat Safari Park and there are many pretty villages in the surrounding area, which are all worth a visit.

There are local pubs in the neighbouring villages (within a short drive or via a pleasant walk over fields) offering real ales and home-cooked food and the nearest shop is approximately 4 miles away which caters for all your everyday needs, including freshly baked breads and pastries.
